We provide best way to get to Old Trafford. Make your way to the stadium for all Manchester United home games without the hassle of traffic and parking. The Princess Katherine takes you from opposite Spinningfields in Manchester’s city centre to within a couple minutes walk of Old Trafford. The journey takes just half an hour, enough time to relax with a cold beer or two from our fully stocked bar before you get to the game.
Departure time is 75 minutes before kick off from the VAT building on Stanley Street. We’re close to the train stations (Salford Central, Manchester Piccadilly) so you can leave your car at home and relax.
At the end of the match the Princess Katherine leaves from Samuel Platt’s pub 20 minutes after the final whistle. The boat will leave promptly to make sure we arrive back to make your train connections.
The boarding point for departure sits within view of the Dockyard bar which is a great spot to relax before boarding.

Manchester River Cruises provide match day travel to ALL Manchester United home games, tickets usually go on sale a month in advance of the game. If we are not showing the game you’re interested in get in touch and we can reserve you a place
Match day hospitality and events
We also provide the option to for an earlier departure with a later return. This is a great option for those enjoying hospitality at Old Trafford and visiting team fans who want more time at the ground. We have worked with some of the UK’s top clubs and their corporate partners providing match day travel and hospitality.
Departure is two hours prior to kick off (or earlier if desired) with a return an hour after the final whistle (or later). We have on board bar and can also provide catering through Le Mange Tout. Get in touch to find out more.
