We have two vessels available for hire, The Princess Katherine or Isabella Manchester’s number one Party Boats! Princess Katherine is a purpose built in Amsterdam, with the largest capacity of any vessel in the Manchester area. Isabella is a larger vessel with a cosier feel, larger aft deck is more suitable for larger groups.
There are two local catering firms than help you with your event – South Catering – or Impact Catering, both have a good range of buffet options for you to choose from.
Just let them know what you want and they will build the perfect menu for your event. Alternatively you can provide your own food or use a caterer of your own choice, it’s up to you!

Whatever your occasion when organising your Manchester Boat Party with us you have a choice of entertainment. We have space for anything from a DJ to a live band and once we even hosted a full brass section!
Unit One Entertainment are a great team who can provide you with whatever type of entertainment suits you. Or you are welcome to provide your own music with our on board sound system through your ipod or phone or be your own DJ (they will be required to use our PA system).
Both our vessels have fully stocked licenced bar on board to take care of your drinking needs. We can also provide pre-paid drinks, welcome drinks on arrival or whatever you and your guests want to make it the ultimate Manchester Boat Party, just ask!
Pick up and Departure
The great think about having a Manchester Boat Party is the venue is always changing! From 2023 operate from one boarding point.
Salford Quays is quickly becoming a must do destination with a host of restaurants and bars as well as the Lowry Theatre it makes a great spot to start or finish your party.
There is also a stop at Trafford Wharf for those wanting to visit Old Trafford.
For night time events we cruise the area from the Quays to the city centre but for those planning an afternoon event we can travel through Mode Wheel Locks as far at Barton Swing Aquaduct.
Availability and booking
Hire of the Princess Katherine & Isabella are both charged at a rate of £550 for two hours and £750 for three which includes some time prior to your booking for decoration or setting up. The maximum capacity of both vessels is 80 guests (including the outside space) depending on what type of event you are planning and the Manchester weather.
